08_nectar x barbacoa_art direction_spatial design_2026

i lead the art direction and designed the space for a culinary experience hosted by nectar, a second-hand store in brussels, in collaboration with barbacoa, a south american-inspired catering service with a contemporary twist.

the space was conceived as a gradual invitation into the store, guiding guests from the storefront towards the main event of the evening. the patchwork textile transformed the window into an oversized table setting, with a suspended plate, fork, and knife offering a playful glimpse of what was to come, while the u-shaped table placed the dj among the guests, making music an integral part of the dining experience.
